Coming to Chicago on October 22, 2016, #decolonize16 is the first public gathering of people inspired by the #decolonizeLutheranism movement.

The all-day meeting will be a mixture of worship, testimony, laughter and banter, fellowship and love – inspired and directed by the Augsburg Confession and the liturgical calendar year.

Taking place in the Hyde Park Neighborhood on Chicago’s south side, either at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago or at Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park, the site will be easily accessible via public transit with decent parking available.
